Standing Committees

Standing committees are defined as those committees which are "ongoing" or "active" for the entire two-year term.  These committees are represented at each monthly Executive Board meeting by their chairperson.  The committee chairpersons or their representatives carry one vote during the meeting in addition to the PTA officers.

In addition to the Standing Committees there are committees responsible for the various activities that are sponsored by the PTA.  The chairperson of these committees attend the monthly Executive Board meetings to keep the Executive Board appraised of their committee's activities.  Unlike the chairpersons of the Standing Committees, the chairpersons of these committees do not have voting rights during the meetings.  If you cannot find the committee you are looking for here try list of PTA activities.
