Grandperson's Day 2007

The PTA-supported Grandperson's Day 2007 was held on Friday, November 2nd at both the Elementary and Middle Schools.  Click here to see more pictures from Grandperson's Day.


The Legend of Bully Jo - Fall 2007

The fourth annual  PTA-sponsored Theater Week program by Lopatcong's first through eighth grade students was the best show ever, according to Michael Taubenslag.  The  students practiced every afternoon during the week of October 8th with the performance Friday evening.  The program was developed by Taubenslag Productions.  Click here to see more pictures from this production.

Night of the Arts - Spring 2007

The Lopatcong Township PTA Cultural Enrichment Committee held its sixth "Night of the Arts" on Friday, May 4, 2007 in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Lopatcong Township Middle School.  Instrumental, vocal, and dance performances by many students were featured plus a display of student art projects.  A certificate of participation and a rose were awarded to all the participating students.  Click on one of the links below to see pictures of additional student performances and the students' artwork:

Family Game Night II - Bingo

Day of the Arts - Winter 2007

On Saturday, March 3, 2007 the Lopatcong Township PTA Cultural Enrichment Committee sponsored its third annual "Day of the Arts" at the Lopatcong Township Middle School.  We had the largest turn-out ever.  Click on one of the activities below for more pictures:

The American Boychoir

On December 1st the PTA Cultural Enrichment Committee sponsored performances by the American Boy Choir.  In the morning, the American Boy Choir and its director discussed and demonstrated various vocal techniques.  The choir director and the boys answered numerous questions about their singing engagements to what life is like as a member of the choir.

In the afternoon, the American Boy Choir gave a concert for the entire Middle School.  They again answered a few questions from the audience and demonstrated what a boy can expect when trying out to be a member of the choir.  Click here to see additional pictures from the two concerts.

The Pied Piper's Wild West Show -- A Rootin' Tootin' Adventure

The PTA-sponsored third annual Theater Week program by Lopatcong's Students was another smashing success.  The first through eighth grade students practiced from Tuesday, October 10th through Friday, October 13th.  The final performance was the evening of Friday the thirteenth.  Taubenslag Productions developed the program and produced it at the school.  Click here to see more pictures from this production.

The Golden Goose - Fall 2005

The residents of Lopatcong were treated to a full-scale musical production starring our students in grades 1 through 8 on Friday, October 28, 2005.  "The Golden Goose" was the final performance of the second annual Theater Week at the Lopatcong Schools.  The program was produced by Taubenslag Productions.  Click here to see more pictures of this play.

New Library Furniture

The PTA working with the Board of Education, helped purchase new tables, chairs, bookshelves, and a librarian desk for the Elementary School.  Click here to see additional pictures of the new furniture.
