The School District Accountably Act requires school districts to publish specific "user friendly" information about the district's proposed budget for the 2008-2009 school year.  In addition, it requires that salary and benefits details for administrators and non-union employees making more than $75,000 per year be made available to the public.  That information will be published on the school district's website as soon as it is available.

The candidates for the three expiring seats on the Board of Education are:  Dennis Drake - incumbent; Ernie Gallant - incumbent; Joe Kennedy - former Board member; CJ Koop; Ed Krusman - former Board member; and Lee Rozycki.  Frank Kish has decided not to run again; the Board thanks him for his more than two decades of service.  The PTA will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Thursday, April 3rd in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Middle School.
